Client/ Projects
We were commissioned by an NHS Trust to undertake a business review of their workplace childcare nurseries. Due to both nurseries accruing a substantial deficit over time, we were also asked to develop a turnaround strategy and a series of action plans to “commercialise” the nurseries. Corrective action plans are currently being implemented with a projected outcome of both nurseries generating a small surplus by 2010. The brief was to develop and deliver online marketing campaigns for 2 tourist attractions in the Gwynedd area, one being a coastal path and the other being the golf courses in the county. We were commissioned by the local authority to undertake this project due to our track record of success with similar campaigns. The campaign was to take place over a 3 month period with some challenging targets set to measure the success. The outcome of the project was a 55% over target success for the promotion of the coastal path, with a 45% over target success for the county’s golf courses. We have also since been commissioned by the same local authority to undertake a “User Generated Content” marketing campaign utilising social networking sites and online marketing, as well as offline marketing and a public relations campaign. ________ A local, independent bookstore has a good reputation for its friendly and extremely pro-active bilingual service. The brief initially was to launch their new on-line book shop. An event was organised at the National Eisteddfod, with local MP Hywel Williams attending the launch along with other national celebrities performing. Since the launch, we have been commissioned to carry on with the work of generating more traffic into the website using other forms of PR and communication tools. We are also actively involved in marketing and promoting entertainment evenings which the bookstore host on their shop floor, which ranges from live music to book signing events. ________ A high ropes course based in a tourist town, situated in the heart of Snowdonia commissioned us to create and carry out a Direct Marketing campaign. The brief was to generate more customers over the whole year as the company’s main income came through peak-season only. A marketing audit, strategy and plan were carried out and written before implementing the Direct Marketing campaign, targeting the education specific sector to increase enquiries and all year round sales. ________ A steel fabricating business based in Caernarfon had been working without any kind of marketing for over a decade. We therefore helped them create a range of marketing materials to help the business generate more profit. The initial brief was to create a brand for the business and produce a logo, website, branded stationary and leaflets, targeting specific sectors. Second part of the brief was to market an alloy refurbishing side-line. This campaign was done by combining sales promotion tool and Direct Marketing. Inserts were put in a local newspaper which is proving to be very successful with a significant number of enquiries and new contracts coming through within only a couple of days of introducing the special offer. |
